Nico's first ever run - and it's for Phoenix
Nico Yarranton, 20, is a baker at Sainsbury's Hereford. When his colleagues chose Phoenix as Sainsbury's Hereford as their Charity of the Year, it set Nico thinking about what he could do to support us. He had done some jogging and fitness tests before, so a charity run seemed like a great idea. So good, in fact, that he persuaded his mum Nicky to run with him! They will be taking on the Swansea 5k run on Sunday 22 September. To sponsor him please visit his page http:https:mydonate.bt.comfundraisersnicoyarranton1
Nico went to primary school at Lord Scudamore's and then on to Whitecross school. Now he's a baker at Sainsbury's Hereford. He is really keen to do something to support Phoenix and thought that a run would be the best way for him. His mum, Nicky, is a mum of 6, and is happy to support Nico by running alongside him. They will be tackling the Swansea 5k run on Saturday 22 September, thanks to help from Alan Lewis of Wye Valley Runners who suggested it.
Nico says, 'I really like the thought of helping others who are going through difficult times, and I can't wait to do more for the charity. I would be really glad if you could visit my fundraising page and support my efforts. Thank you!'
